Red Clay Storytelling Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the growth and the appreciation of storytelling as an oral tradition, a performing art, and an educational tool.
Chief Bard
Leonard Presberg is a local storyteller, former pre-school teacher, recovering lawyer, community activist, volunteer, school board member, and local businessman. He is currently serving in his third decade as Pepper Potts to his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Moore, a local obstetrician and gynecologist. Near the end of his career as chauffeur as Emma (Centre College graduate) and Eli (Oberlin College) have left home and Isaac (Sandy Creek High School) is driving, Leonard is looking forward to the next adventure and the stories that come with it.
Festival Director
Anthony Vinson is a freelance writer and performer with a background as a corporate trainer and human resource manager. He is a former president of Southern Order of Storytellers, and has directed corporate events and storytelling festivals in Atlanta and around the southeast. He is co-director of Stories on the Square – Fayette, a monthly open-mic storytelling event.
